Currently serving as the Director and Senior Technology Leader for Construction Sealants at Momentive since December 2006, Markus has successfully led global technology teams focused on new product development and innovation. Previous roles at Momentive include leadership positions in global elastomers and electronics technology, where Markus established multi-generational product planning, strengthened technology centers, and developed roadmaps for new platform technologies. Prior to Momentive, Markus held various technology leadership roles at GE Bayer Silicones, contributing to advancements in silicone products for industrial applications. Markus holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from The Philipp University of Marburg and has contributed to significant market innovations throughout a distinguished career.
