Chris Roach has a rich work experience in the renewable energy industry. Chris is currently serving as the CEO of Monarch Bioenergy, a position they have held since 2022.

Prior to this, Roach worked at Roeslein Alternative Energy, where they held multiple roles. Chris served as the President, Vice President, and Director of the company. Chris also worked as the Director of Project Development from 2013 to 2014.

Roach also worked at Ceres, Inc. as a Project Development Manager from 2011 to 2013.

Chris began their career at Boeing Energy as a Project Development Lead from 2010 to 2011. Their responsibilities included developing renewable energy generation projects, with a focus on solar PV technology.

Before joining Boeing Energy, Roach worked at Abengoa Bioenergy, where they served as a Project Development Manager from 2006 to 2010. Chris successfully financed a $470 million project during their tenure and developed various renewable energy production facilities.

Roach started their career at Monsanto Enviro-Chem Systems, Inc., where they worked as a Regional Sales Manager from 1993 to 2000.

Overall, Chris Roach has extensive experience in project development, sales, and leadership roles, with a particular focus on renewable energy in the bioenergy sector.

Chris Roach earned a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia between 1991 and 1993. Prior to that, from 1989 to 1991, they attended Truman State University for pre-engineering studies. Later on, between 1997 and 2000, they pursued an MBA with a focus on Finance at the Olin Business School of Washington University in St. Louis.
