Amanda Efird

Amanda Efird is an experienced professional in the field of developmental disabilities and community engagement, currently serving as the Director of Organizational Development at Monarch since April 2011. Amanda has held various roles including leadership development coach and trainer, operational management, and program management in residential settings and community programs for adults and adolescents with developmental disabilities. Prior to Monarch, Amanda worked as a Teacher Assistant at Sandhills Children’s Center and as a Treatment Home Supervisor at Oasis Treatment Homes. Amanda began working in the field as a Recreation Counselor and Assistant Manager at Maryhaven Center of Hope after earning a Bachelor of Applied Science in Therapeutic Recreation/Recreational Therapy from St. Joseph's University New York in 2003.
