Jean Andersen is an experienced advocate and leader in the field of brain injury and disability, currently serving as a member of various organizations, including the NC Medicaid Medical Care Advisory Committee and the NASHIA National Association of State Head Injury Administrators. Active in the Brain Injury Association of North Carolina and the NC Olmstead Plan Stakeholder Advisory, Jean has held leadership roles such as Vice-Chair of the NC State CFAC. With a commitment to advocacy and community engagement, Jean has been a Disability Advocate and Farmer at Meadowview Family Farm while also contributing as Poet Laureate and Head Musician at Meadowview Farm since 1995. Currently a student with an ongoing education journey from 2019 to 2025, Jean continues to influence the field through board memberships and participation in leadership programs.
