Derek Vernon

Derek Vernon has extensive experience in the financial services industry, primarily at BMO since March 1998, where roles have included Head of North American Treasury and Payment Solutions and Vice-President of North American Treasury Management Product. Additional leadership positions have included Managing Director at BMO Capital Markets and responsibilities in product and market management. Currently, Derek serves on the Board of Directors for The Clearing House and Moneris, and is a member of the Board of Governors for JA Central Ontario. Previously, Derek was Chair of the Member Advisory Council at Payments Canada and held a board member position with Interac Corp. Derek's educational background includes a Master of Business Administration from Ivey Business School and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Business from York University.
