Micky Tesfaye

Micky Tesfaye is an accomplished podcast host at blocks2bags since February 2023 and serves as the Europe Content Lead and Fintech Journalist at Money20/20 from February 2022. As a co-founder of Chila, Micky launched a dog-food and pet shop brand in Addis Ababa, overseeing all aspects of business operations and marketing. Previous roles include Senior Researcher at Lezzoo, where Micky led the creation of market intelligence reports, and Research Analyst at Business Insider, focusing on long-form content and data analysis in fintech. Micky also held positions at Football Beyond Borders as a Content Creator and performed freelance content writing, alongside earlier experience as a Student Consultant for Unilever. Micky Tesfaye holds a Master’s degree in Legal and Political Theory from UCL and a Bachelor's degree in International Studies from Leiden University, with an exchange program at Monash University.
