MoneySecret is a storytelling project created to give people a safe and anonymous place to share the financial truths they often carry alone. Money influences nearly every part of life, yet it remains one of the hardest and most uncomfortable topics to talk about. MoneySecret invites honesty by allowing people to quietly release the stories, struggles, mistakes, lessons, and experiences they rarely share with others.

How It Works

MoneySecret accepts submissions in two accessible formats:

Mailed Postcards
Postcards are the foundation of this project. There is meaning in taking a moment to write something real and dropping it into the world. Mailed submissions will always be prioritized because of their intentional, personal nature. Each postcard is handled with confidentiality and becomes part of a visual archive representing the human side of money.

Online Submissions
To ensure full accessibility and global participation, MoneySecret also accepts anonymous online submissions. Many people shared that they want to participate but do not always have time to visit a mailbox or post office. Online submissions keep the project equitable for everyone. Every message is paired with an AI generated image that reflects the spirit of a postcard while keeping every word exactly as submitted.
