Greg Smith's work experience includes holding roles at various companies since 2001. Greg started their career at Goldman Sachs, where they worked in various positions related to derivative sales and emerging markets equities. In 2012, Greg authored the New York Times op-ed "Why I am Leaving Goldman Sachs" and published the book "Why I Left Goldman Sachs: A Wall Street Story." After leaving Goldman Sachs, they worked as the President of blooom, where they aimed to help Americans fix their 401k's. From 2017 to 2020, Greg served as the Head of Business Development and Partnerships at Wealthsimple. In 2020, they founded Moneyworld and currently holds the position of CEO & Founder. Throughout their career, Greg has also been involved in speaking engagements on business culture, customer service, and financial policy.

Greg Smith attended Stanford University from 1997 to 2001, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Economics.
