Alex Coburn

Alex Coburn is a Staff Archaeologist at Kleinfelder, responsible for coordinating and leading cultural projects. They also work as a Contributor at Mongabay Kids, creating educational video content. In addition, as the Owner and Guide at Mopani Expeditions, Alex manages a safari company in California and South Africa. Their previous experience includes roles such as Education Coordinator at Safari West Wildlife Preserve and Park Interpretive Specialist at California State Parks. With a Bachelor's Degree in Anthropology from Sonoma State University, Alex has a strong background in archaeology and conservation.
