David Martin

David Martin is the Director of Philanthropy at Mongabay, where they oversee development initiatives and fundraising activities, focusing on nature-based, impact-driven opportunities. With experience as Vice President at the Francis and Christine Martin Family Foundation, they provide research and advisory services for philanthropic giving. David also served as South Pacific Regional Manager at Runa from 2014 to 2015. They hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Global Studies and Socioeconomics from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a Master’s Degree in Humanities and Social Thought from New York University.
