Adam Rayner has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Adam is currently working at MongoDB as a Lead Software Engineer, specializing in server security. Prior to this, Adam worked at Masimo as a Software Engineering Manager, where they led a team of engineers in the design, development, and release of various projects, including the Masimo SafetyNet Alert and Masimo SafetyNet platform services. Before that, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Masimo, responsible for designing and developing the Iris Device Management System and contributing to Iris Analytics.
Adam also worked as a Senior Java Developer on a one-year contract with Central 1 Credit Union, focusing on the development of login, authentication, and authorization services for an online banking service. Adam was previously employed at Global Relay as a Senior Software Developer, where they worked on projects such as the Key Management Solution server and contributed to the development of automated test frameworks.
In addition, Adam worked at BCLC as a Senior Programmer Analyst, where they played a technical lead role in migrating web properties to a new content management platform. Before that, they worked at Merrill Lynch as an Applications Programming Analyst, developing and supporting analytic software for real-time market analysis and transaction cost analysis reporting.
Adam's earlier work experience includes roles at TPM Communications as a Web Coordinator, where they managed the content of the Toyota Canada website, and at RPM Technologies as a Java Developer, working on the R-Funds Transfer Agency service. Adam also worked at Innovapost as a Technical Consultant, developing online billing features for the epost service, and at Noranda as a Programmer/Analyst Co-op, where they developed intranet applications in the Risk Management domain.
Adam Rayner completed their Bachelor of Mathematics degree in Honours Computer Science from the University of Waterloo between 2001 and 2006. Adam then pursued another Bachelor's degree, this time in Honours English Rhetoric and Professional Writing, also at the University of Waterloo, from 2008 to 2010.
