Alexander Neben

Alexander Neben has a diverse work experience history. Alexander is currently working as the Director of Engineering at MongoDB, where they focus on developer productivity and quality of life improvements. Alexander previously served as a Lead Engineer at the same company. Prior to that, Alexander worked at Ocient as an Engineering Manager, Sales Engineer, Senior Software Engineer, and Software Engineer. Alexander also gained experience at the University of Michigan as an Instructional Aid for Operating Systems. Alexander has held intern positions at Optiver, where they built a C# WPF GUI and improved server communication, and at Ocient, where they accelerated a database health utility and initiated a data generating tool using C++ variadic templates. Alexander also worked as a Software Intern at Bloomberg LP and held roles at HolidaySpirits and Zayo Group.

Alexander Neben attended the University of Michigan College of Engineering from 2015 to 2019, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.
