Ariel Hou

Ariel Hou is a Staff Software Engineer at MongoDB, specializing in core service development and experimentation methodologies. Since December 2020, Ariel has contributed to the Atlas Growth teams, successfully planning and implementing a new Config Service and driving A/B experiments for customer acquisition in the MongoDB Cloud-based DBaaS product. Previously, Ariel served as a Master Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer at Capital One, leading significant projects such as rewriting debit card self-service features, creating a CICD UI application pipeline, and coordinating front-end coding practices across teams. Earlier experience includes software engineering roles at LendKey Technologies, Credit Suisse, and freelance web development, with technical proficiency in a range of languages and frameworks. Ariel holds a Bachelor's Degree in Finance and Computer Science from NYU Stern School of Business, complemented by training from App Academy.
