Ben Chia is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in commercial law and compliance across various sectors. Currently serving as Senior Legal Counsel at MongoDB since January 2024, Ben advises business teams on commercial negotiations in the APAC region. Prior to this, Ben held the position of Legal Counsel at PayPal, where responsibilities included negotiating partnerships and guiding product strategies in the MEA and APAC markets. Ben was the Head of Legal & Compliance at M-DAQ Global, developing expertise in foreign exchange, digital payments, and cross-border transactions. Ben began a legal career as a Senior Associate at Drew & Napier LLC, focusing on litigation and international arbitration.
