Ben Longberg has a diverse range of work experience. Ben started their career as a Web Developer at Surface Systems & Instruments in 2001. Ben then worked as a Web Administrator at Tenco Services, Inc. from 2005 to 2007, where they upgraded and maintained internal SharePoint and developed and maintained the external internet site. From 2007 to 2009, Ben worked as a Senior Web Developer at HCA Physician Services, where they coordinated with clients and project managers to design and implement solutions, and supported existing web-based applications.

In 2009, Ben joined Emerson Network Power / Avocent Products and Services as a Web Application Developer, where they worked on custom .Net development, Sharepoint customizations, and maintaining the public-facing internet portal. In 2011, they moved to Digium as a Software Developer, primarily working on the Asterisk SCF telecommunication framework.

From 2012 to 2015, Ben worked as a Lead Software Consultant at Parsons Corporation, where they built a visa tracking system for Saudi Arabian Parsons Ltd. Ben then joined Avatar Software as a Senior Software Developer in 2014, focusing on healthcare and pharmacy-related development.

In 2015, Ben co-founded BlipDash Consulting, where they were responsible for application architecture, design, and development of project management software. Ben also contributed to integrated visual data utilities.

Ben then joined American Addiction Centers in 2016 as a Software Developer, where they architected and built a billing engine and created a tool to pull and reassemble bulk data from Salesforce. Since 2018, they have been working as the Lead Tools Engineer at MongoDB, constructing software tools that interact with data and processes using various technologies such as Javascript, React, and Angular.

Overall, Ben has a solid background in software development, with experience in various industries such as healthcare, consulting, and telecommunications.

Ben Longberg completed their Bachelor's degree in General Studies - Commercial Graphics from Pittsburg State University, where they studied from 2002 to 2005. Prior to that, they pursued Computer Engineering at Kansas State University from 1999 to 2001, although they did not obtain a degree in this field. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications including Platform Developer I from Salesforce in September 2017, MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional from Microsoft in January 2015, and MS: Programming in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS3 Specialist from Microsoft in January 2015.
