Bernard Gorman

Bernard Gorman has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Bernard began their career at ESB in 2000 as a part-time software developer while completing their degree. Bernard worked on various projects, including automating data log processing and creating a resource scheduling system. In 2003, they joined ESB as a full-time software developer and worked on developing line-leasing and billing systems. In 2010, they joined IBM as a software engineer, where they contributed to the development of the PowerEN Linux Kernel & SDK and also worked as a research engineer for the INSIGHT EU FP7 Project. Since 2015, Bernard has been working at MongoDB, starting as a technical services engineer and progressing to a lead software engineer and currently serving as the director of engineering.
