Cathal Daly

Cathal Daly has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Cathal currently holds the position of Director, International Legal at MongoDB since February 2023. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Legal Counsel at MongoDB from May 2021 to March 2023. Before joining MongoDB, Cathal worked as a Legal Counsel at the same company from June 2019 to May 2021.

In 2018, Cathal co-founded and served as the Chairperson of OUTLaw Network. From 2015 to 2019, they worked at Arthur Cox in various roles, including Tax Associate, Co-Chairperson of the Alliance Network, and Trainee Solicitor.

Cathal's career started at KPMG in Ireland in 2012, where they worked as a Tax Intern for eight months.

Cathal Daly completed their Leaving Certificate at Ardscoil Ris in 2009. Afterward, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Law and Accounting at the University of Limerick from 2009 to 2013. Cathal'sstudies encompassed various subjects, including Law, Accounting, and Corporate Finance. In 2015, Cathal enrolled in the Law Society of Ireland, where they completed the Professional Practice Course I & II within two years. Continuing their education, they attended the Irish Tax Institute from 2016 to 2018, graduating in three parts - Part 1 in 2016, Part 2 in 2017, and Part 3 in 2018. Cathal'sfocus during this time was on becoming a Chartered Tax Advisor.
