Colm Quinn

Colm Quinn is an experienced engineering leader with a strong background in software development and management. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering, API Experience at MongoDB since July 2019, Colm has successfully built and led teams, overseen the delivery of critical API platform functionalities, and fostered a culture of accountability and quality. Previously, Colm held various roles at Automsoft, including Team Lead & Senior Architect, where responsibilities included architecting a SaaS platform and mentoring engineers. Additionally, Colm has experience as a Software Engineer at the Software Quality Research Laboratory and Parthus Technologies, focusing on formal specification methods and the development of hardware conversion tools. Colm holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering specializing in Software Specification Methods and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Limerick.
