Frederic Favelin

Frederic Favelin has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Frederic currently serves as the Global Head Cloud Partner Solutions Architect at MongoDB since August 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Principal Partner Solutions Architect, EMEA at MongoDB from August 2021 to September 2022. Before joining MongoDB, Frederic worked as a Principal Solutions Architect, France at MongoDB from November 2020 to August 2021, and as a Senior Solutions Architect at MongoDB from March 2020 to October 2020.

Before their time at MongoDB, Frederic gained experience at various companies. At AppDynamics, they worked as a Senior Sales Engineer from July 2018 to February 2020. Frederic also worked as a Senior Sales Engineer at NETSCOUT from February 2015 to June 2018, where they provided pre and post-sales support, evaluated and suggested product solutions, and presented sales proposals.

Before that, Frederic served as the Director of Metrology and Monitoring at CA-CIB from July 2011 to February 2015. In this role, they led operations support for enterprise-wide mission-critical application environments and managed a team of 20+ to monitor IT infrastructure and application environments.

Frederic also worked as the Director of Engineering at CELESTE from November 2009 to July 2011, where they led a team of engineers, transformed the service provider into a Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO), and increased product design output by 50% while implementing SCRUM methods.

Prior to that, Frederic worked as the EMEA Delivery Manager at InfoVista from January 2005 to November 2009, where they established customer relationships and managed a team across EMEA.

Frederic began their career as a VAS Engineer at Nokia from April 2000 to December 2004, focusing on core-networking infrastructure for service providers. Additionally, Frederic worked as a Test Manager at Thomson Multimedia from December 1999 to March 2000 and as an R&D Engineer at AMIS Ingenierie from May 1998 to December 1999.

Frederic Favelin completed their Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Information Technology from SUPINFO in 1998. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the "Generative AI Fundamentals" and "Getting Started with MongoDB Atlas on Google Cloud" certifications from Google Cloud Skills Boost in June 2023. Frederic also obtained the "Big Data (2015) Specialization" certification from Coursera Course Certificates in July 2016.
