Jan Rous

Jan Rous is a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at MongoDB, where they focus on managing and maintaining highly reliable systems. Previously, Jan gained extensive experience as a Site Reliability Engineer at Google, where they worked on detection systems for malicious content and contributed to scalability and performance testing. They also served as a Senior Software Engineer at RelationalAI, leading the migration of production systems to Kubernetes and improving monitoring processes. In 2019, Jan embarked on a personal journey, hiking approximately 2,500 miles on the Pacific Crest Trail. Jan holds a Master’s degree in Mathematical Linguistics from Charles University in Prague.
