Jeff Sposetti

Jeff Sposetti has extensive work experience in product management and leadership roles. Jeff is currently serving as the VP of Product, Analytics & Enterprise Tools at MongoDB since November 2019. Prior to this, they worked at Timescale as the VP of Product Management from June 2019 to November 2019. From June 2012 to May 2019, they held the position of VP of Product Management, Cloud Products at Hortonworks. Before that, Jeff worked as the Director of Product Management at VMware, where they led the product teams for Spring and Zimbra from June 2011 to June 2012 and July 2008 to June 2011, respectively.

Jeff's earlier work experience includes being the Senior Director of Product Development at BEA Systems from July 2005 to July 2008, leading a team for the WebLogic Portal platform. Jeff also founded Compoze Software in December 1999, a venture-funded enterprise software company acquired by BEA Systems in 2005.

Jeff Sposetti earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Drexel University between 1989 and 1994. Jeff later pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science at Villanova University from 1994 to 1997.
