Jonas Bergler

Jonas Bergler is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in technical roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering for Storage Engines at MongoDB since March 2024, Jonas previously held the position of Staff Engineer at Semgrep from November 2022 to March 2024. From December 2013 to November 2022, Jonas worked at Cisco Meraki, progressing through various roles including Principal Engineer, Director of Site Reliability Engineering, and Senior Engineering Manager. Prior experience includes a Professional Services Consultant role at Juniper Networks, where Jonas facilitated major deployment projects, and a variety of technical positions at Snap Internet, ranging from Senior Network Engineer to Technical Support Engineer. Additionally, Jonas made notable contributions as Technical Lead for the Student Volunteer Army during the Christchurch Earthquake response. Jonas holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Canterbury.
