Luke Chen

Luke Chen has over 17 years of work experience in the software engineering and systems engineering fields. Luke is currently working at MongoDB as a Senior Software Engineer and Release Manager. Prior to that, they worked at RoZetta Technology as a Linux Systems Engineer and DataOps specialist. Before that, they worked at Symbio Networks as a Telecom Systems Engineer and SysOps specialist. Luke also spent a significant portion of their career at Alcatel-Lucent, where they held various roles such as Advisory Software Engineer, Team Lead, Scrum Master, and Senior Software Engineer. In these roles, they were responsible for software development, bug fixing, testing, and project delivery in the telecom industry. Luke has a strong technical background in areas such as core network signaling and call processing.

Luke Chen's education history begins in 1999 when they enrolled at Shandong University. Luke pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Computer Science and Technology, completing their studies in 2003.

After a gap in their education, Luke returned to pursue further studies in 2010 at Ocean University of China. Luke obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Computer Technology in 2012.

In addition to their formal education, Luke has obtained several certifications. In 2011, they became a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) through the Scrum Alliance. In 2013, Luke acquired the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Routing and Switching certification from Cisco. In 2016, they obtained the Linux Foundation Certified System Administrator (LFCS) certification from The Linux Foundation. Furthermore, in 2017, Luke became an AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate through Amazon Web Services. Lastly, in 2021, they acquired the Microsoft Certified Azure Fundamentals certification from Microsoft and the Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) certification from CNCF (Cloud Native Computing Foundation).
