Mathew Allen

Mathew Allen is an experienced technical professional with a strong background in technical services and consulting, currently serving as the Lead Technical Services Engineer for Infrastructure at MongoDB since July 2019. Prior to this role, Mathew worked at Veritas Technologies LLC as a Principal Technical Support Engineer in the Backline Group from December 2010 to July 2019, and held the position of Midrange Storage Specialist at IBM Global Services for nearly a year. Earlier experience includes a role as a Senior Solutions Specialist at Symantec, where consultancy services for NetBackup were provided to clients across the UK and Europe, and as a Senior Consultant at GlassHouse Technologies, advising British Telecom on NetBackup implementation and management. Mathew holds a Bachelor of Computing Science degree from the University of New England, awarded in 1999.
