Nick Bell has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Nick began their career as a Software Developer at BBC Hardware Ltd in 1999. From there, they worked as a Tech Consultant and Software Engineer at Communications Design and Management. In 2003, they became a Technical Consultant and Presales expert at Sonnet.
In 2004, Nick joined Mercury Interactive as a Technical Account Manager and later became a Solution Marketing Manager for the Asia Pacific and Japan region.
In 2008, they joined Hewlett Packard as a Senior Product Marketing Manager before moving on to Moxie Software, Inc. as Director of Product Marketing. Nick also held the position of General Manager & Senior Director for Cloud Services at CollabNet, Inc. during this time, where they were responsible for developing a new cloud strategy that greatly impacted the company's web traffic, customer accounts, and revenue.
In 2011, Nick returned to Hewlett Packard as the Senior Director of Product Marketing, Application Delivery Management, and later worked as the Director of Product Marketing for MongoDB.
Nick then joined VMware in 2014, where they held various roles including Director of SaaS Product Marketing for Cloud Management and Director of Cloud Customer Experience.
Most recently, Nick has been working as the Director of Product Marketing at MongoDB since 2019.
Nick Bell completed their Bachelor of Science in Architecture with a focus on Computing at UNSW from 1998 to 2001.
