Patrick Lanier has a diverse work experience spanning across various roles and industries. Patrick started their career at NetApp in 2008, where they focused on enterprise storage sales across multiple verticals. At IBM, they served as an Analytics Account Executive, selling IBM analytics solutions both on-premise and in the cloud. Patrick also worked as a Sales Consultant at TrustDigital, where they sold technical solutions and assisted in building marketing and sales programs.

In 2012, they joined Check Point Software Technologies as a Sr. Account Manager, responsible for the South and Mid-Atlantic regions. Patrick later became a Territory Manager at Narus Inc. In 2014, they joined Lenovo as a Senior Solution Sales representative, specializing in selling Lenovo Data Center solutions.

In 2020, Patrick transitioned to Red Hat as a GPTE Partner Enablement Advisor, focused on enabling and coaching Global System Integrators (GSI) and contributing to course content and guidance for sales and technical audiences. Patrick then moved to Cohesity as a Manager and later a Global Manager of Advanced Services, where they led and grew the Professional Services team while implementing new service offerings and internal processes for hybrid cloud offerings.

Currently, Patrick is working at MongoDB as a Senior Engagement Manager, leveraging their experience to drive engagement and ensure successful outcomes for the company.

Patrick Lanier attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for an unspecified period of time. Patrick did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study during their time at the university. In addition to their college education, Patrick Lanier has obtained several certifications. In May 2021, they received a Technical Sales Associate certification from Cohesity. In July 2022, they achieved the Cohesity Data Management as a Service Sales Associate certification.
