Sam Stevens

Sam Stevens has a diverse work experience in the technology and creative industries. Starting in 2013, they worked as a Genomic Data Analyst at Columbia New York Presbyterian, analyzing data and conducting research in a cancer lab. In 2014, they interned as a Graphic Designer at VFILES, contributing to the design of visual collateral for a runway show. From 2015 to 2016, Sam served as a Marketing Manager at The Shade Store, overseeing social media strategy and designing apparel. They then worked as a Web Developer and Creative at Brooklyn Fare from 2016 to 2017. In 2017, they joined Hugo & Marie as a Developer. From 2018 to 2020, they held roles at Compass, including Senior Full Stack Engineer and Front End UI Engineer, where they developed various tools and platforms. Since 2020, Sam has been working at MongoDB, starting as a Software Engineer III and progressing to Senior Software Engineer and currently as the Lead Software Engineer.

Sam Stevens received a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from Columbia University between 2011 and 2015.
