Sindharmawan Bachtiar

Sindharmawan Bachtiar's work experience begins in 2005 at Weta Digital, where they held various roles including Data and Render Wrangler, System Coder, Production Software Engineer, and Creatures Pipeline Technical Director - Software Engineer. Sindharmawan was responsible for developing and maintaining software applications, pipelines, and frameworks. At Datalicious Pty Ltd in 2014, Bachtiar worked as a Data Engineer, creating and maintaining systems related to Media Attribution. Sindharmawan bridged the gap between technical requirements and business needs. In 2014, they also worked at Animal Logic as a Software Developer R&D. From 2015 onwards, Bachtiar joined MongoDB, starting as a Technical Services Engineer, and later progressing to Snr. Engineer, Senior Technical Services Engineer, Staff Engineer, and Lead of Community Platforms & Data roles. Alongside their professional roles, they also worked as an Organiser/Host for the MongoDB User Group, facilitating events and delivering technical talks.

Sindharmawan Bachtiar attended Natcoll Design Technology in Wellington in 2009 for an Introduction to Digital Film and Video Production course. Later, from 2002 to 2005, they pursued a Bachelor of Information Technology degree at UCOL. In 2016, they obtained two certifications, namely MongoDB Certified DBA Associate and MongoDB Certified Developer Associate, from The MongoDB Certification Program.
