Tan Hsiao is a seasoned product design professional with extensive experience in user experience (UX) and product design, currently serving as the Product Design Lead for MongoDB Atlas since May 2019. Tan began the journey at MongoDB as a Senior Product Designer, gradually advancing through various roles, contributing to the design of a global cloud database service. Prior to MongoDB, Tan held positions at Prudential Financial and Athlon, where leadership in UX and UI efforts was key in developing projects for prominent clients. Early career experiences include a role as User Experience Designer at BrightStarr and an internship at AKQA, along with a foundation in software engineering from Quanta Computer Inc. Tan possesses a Master of Arts in Game and Interactive Media Design from Savannah College of Art and Design and a Bachelor of Engineering in Software Engineering from Tamkang University.
