Vinicius Santos

Vinicius Santos has a diverse range of work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Vinicius began their career as an IT Support Analyst at BM&F Bovespa in 2005 and later transitioned to a role as an IT Supervisor. In 2010, they joined Mars as an IT Service Delivery Manager Americas, where they managed an infrastructure support team and oversaw service transformation with suppliers. Vinicius also had responsibilities in budget management, staff mentoring, and negotiation of service agreements. After leaving Mars in 2014, Vinicius worked at Atypic as a Project Manager for Business Development in 2015. In 2017, they joined Deloitte as a Head of Managed Services, where they managed AWS, Oracle, SQL, Linux, and VMware teams. Vinicius achieved improvements in customer experience, retention, and problem management processes. In 2020, Vinicius was promoted to Manager of Cloud Engineering at Deloitte, where they managed a department composed of 5 teams and focused on delivering high-quality projects and support. Currently, they are working at MongoDB as a Manager in Escalation Management since 2023.

Vinicius Santos obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Cloud Computing from the National College of Ireland from 2016 to 2017. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with an emphasis in Project Management - PMI at FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas from 2007 to 2009. Vinicius also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Data Processing from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho, which they completed from 2001 to 2004.

In addition to their formal education, Vinicius has obtained several certifications. Vinicius acquired the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in May 2021. In June 2016, they achieved the IELTs General Training for UKVI certification with a Proficient User - Level C1, Overall 7, and Speaking 8 at the University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations and British Council.

Other certifications include ITIL Version 3 Operational Support and Analysis from APMG in July 2013, ITIL Version 3 Foundation from Loyalist in August 2008, Citrix Presentation Server Support from Citrix in November 2007, FCE upper-intermediate level qualification for non-native speakers - Level B2 from Cambridge English Language Assessment in February 2005, Specialist Router Configurations Exam v2.2 - 90% Score from Enterasys in February 2004, Specialist Switching rev 2.3 from Enterasys in January 2004, 70-215 - Installing Configuring and Administering Microsoft Windows 2000 Server from Microsoft in September 2003, and 70-210 Installing , Configuring and Administering Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional also from Microsoft in August 2003.
