John Pye

John Pye is a Production Manager at Monitra, where they oversee daily operations involved in the production of high voltage partial discharge monitors and sensors, while also managing health, safety, and risk assessment initiatives. Previously, John served as the General Operations Manager at Specialist Switchgear Systems Limited from 2018 to 2022, and held the position of Production Manager at HVPD from 2022 to 2023. Earlier in their career, John gained significant experience at GEC Alstom Traction as a Production Controller after completing a Craft Apprenticeship, along with obtaining an HNC in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Salford College of Technology. John has also worked in sales management and operations roles at Cablecraft Ltd and Takbro Ltd.
