David Stevens

David Stevens has a diverse work experience in the production, audio engineering, management, and event coordination fields. David is currently serving as the Deputy Head of Production at Monocle since January 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Studio Manager at Monocle from August 2017 to January 2022. Before joining Monocle, they worked as a Freelance Audio Engineer from January 2009 to August 2017. David has also served as the Station Manager at Radio Control 99.4FM from December 2012 to July 2017, where they were responsible for strategic planning, budgeting, staff management, volunteer coordination, advertising sales, and client management. Additionally, they have held various roles at Creative Sounds, including Management Committee Convener, Event Coordinator, and Technical Support Administrator, where they were involved in strategic planning, budgeting, staff recruitment, meeting coordination, complaints procedures oversight, event coordination, studio recording, mixing, mastering, and live audio mixing. David also has experience as a Co-Director at Great Job!, where they were involved in brand creation and design, strategic planning, budgeting, financial management, artist liaison, and event planning from June 2014 to June 2016.

David Stevens attended Palmerston North Boys' High School from 2004 to 2008. During this time, they completed their NCEA Level 3 with Merit, receiving a diploma in High School/Secondary Diplomas and Certificates.
