Æsc G.

Æsc G. has a long history of working in the software engineering industry. In 2007, they began their career as a Sales Assistant at WHSmith. In 2011, they moved on to become an Assistant Production Engineer at Spirax Sarco, where they developed VB.NET desktop applications in Visual Studio. In 2014, they took on the role of Product Development Consultant at ION (IT2 Treasury Solutions), where they worked with C++ (Visual Studio), SQL (SSMS), and C#. In 2015, they joined Garrison Technology as a Software Engineer, where they undertook desktop app and SOC development in C++ and Android OS, Firefox, and app development (Android Studio) in C++ and Java. In 2019, they took on the role of Senior Software Engineer and Sustainability Lead at Dotdigital, where they led projects with a multidisciplinary internal team and external partners to reduce Dotdigital's negative environmental impact and improve positive environmental behaviours. In 2022, they moved on to become a Senior Software Engineer at Monolith.

Æsc G. began their educational journey at Pate's Grammar School from 2002 to 2009. They then spent a year at Pomona College from 2009 to 2010. After that, Æsc G. attended the University of Cambridge from 2010 to 2013, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Natural Sciences. They continued their studies at the University of Cambridge, graduating with a Master of Science in Materials Science and Metallurgy in 2014.
