Rob Hanson is the Co-Founder and CEO of Monolith Materials, a company that produces solar thermal technology. Prior to founding Monolith Materials, Rob worked for AREVA Solar (formerly Ausra) for over five years. At AREVA Solar, Rob held multiple technical and management roles developing next generation solar thermal technology. Ausra (startup) was acquired by AREVA in 2011.

Rob has always been passionate about clean energy and sustainability. Rob was drawn to solar thermal technology because it has the potential to make a significant impact in the fight against climate change. Rob is a highly skilled engineer and manager, and they have used their skills to build a successful company that is making a difference in the world.

Rob Hanson has a Masters in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan.
