David Hanson

David Hanson is a highly experienced engineer with a strong background in high-speed mixed signal and analog design. Currently serving as a Sr Principal Design Engineer at Monolithic Power Systems, Inc. since July 2023, David specializes in high-speed mixed signal design within a startup environment under a larger company. Prior to this role, David held the position of Principal Engineer at Marvell Semiconductor, where responsibilities included leading the design of 112Gb/s and 224Gb/s SerDes transmitter in N5 TSMC technology. David's extensive experience also includes significant roles at GLOBALFOUNDRIES/Avera Semiconductor, contributing to high-speed custom SerDes designs, and a long tenure at IBM, where design work encompassed various high-speed transceivers and memory circuit designs. David holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Syracuse University.
