Oriol Riera

Oriol Riera is an experienced Application Engineer at Monolithic Power Systems, Inc. since September 2021, specializing in digital design, VHDL implementation, and FPGA verification of ASIC and digital controllers. Riera has also worked on a Master's thesis focused on designing and implementing a high-resolution timer for motor control and power applications, while previously gaining experience as an FPGA Engineer. Prior to this role, Riera served as a Computer Network Engineer assistant at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, contributing to network management for the Signal Theory and Communications Department. Riera holds a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from UPC - ETSETB and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from ZHAW Zurich University of Applied Sciences. Additionally, Riera completed an Engineer's degree in Industrial Electronics and Automation at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
