Zheng A. is a fourth-year Ph.D. student specializing in Medium-Voltage String Inverters technology for utility-scale PV-plus-storage farms. Currently serving as a Staff Applications Engineer at Monolithic Power Systems, Inc., Zheng has extensive hands-on experience in simulation, converter design, control design, and high-voltage testing within power electronics. Previously, Zheng held engineering roles at Lucid Motors and ABB, along with internships at Mercedes-Benz AG and E.ON Energy Research Center. As the president of the IEEE PES Student Branch Chapter at Georgia Tech, Zheng leads a vibrant community of over 180 members in power and energy fields. Zheng earned a Master’s degree from RWTH Aachen University and a Bachelor’s degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
