Michael Powell

Associate Director Of Project Engineering. at MonoSol, A Kuraray Company

Michael Powell has extensive work experience in project engineering and management. Michael started their career as a light wheel vehicle mechanic/paratrooper in the US Army from 1992 to 1997. Michael then worked as a packaging engineer at Calumet Carton Company from 1998 to 2011. From 2011 to 2013, they joined Cargill as a packaging process engineer/continuous improvement champion. Michael then moved on to MonoSol Rx, LLC, where they served as a project engineer and later as a maintenance and facilities manager from 2013 to 2015. Currently, they are employed at MonoSol, A Kuraray Company, first as a project manager from 2015 to 2019, then as a senior project manager from 2019 to 2023, and currently holds the position of associate director of project engineering.

Michael Powell's education history is as follows:

Michael Powell began their education at Prairie State College in 2000 and completed their Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in General Studies in 2002.

Michael then enrolled at Purdue University Northwest in 2002 and obtained an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Architectural Engineering in 2004. Michael continued their studies at Purdue University Northwest and graduated in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Construction Management and Engineering Technology.

Most recently, Michael attended the University of Louisville from 2020 to 2022, where they earned a Master of Engineering degree in Engineering Management.
