Bryan Comeau

Bryan Comeau has extensive work experience in software engineering and management. Bryan started their career at Agfa in 1984, where they worked as a Manufacturing Test Engineer and later became a Principal Software Engineer. In 2004, they joined Monotype as the Manager of Display Imaging Custom Engineering, overseeing a team responsible for software development. From 2012 to 2020, they held the role of Manager of Worldwide Field Application Engineering, where they managed technical support and rapid response teams. In 2016, they were promoted to the position of Senior Manager Engineering at Monotype, where they were responsible for talent management, release management, and best engineering practices. In 2022, they became the Senior Director of Software Engineering at Monotype.

Bryan Comeau holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, which they obtained from Wentworth Institute of Technology in the years 1988-1992. Bryan also has an Associate's degree in Electronic Technology from Northern Essex Community College, completed between 1985 and 1992. In terms of additional certifications, Bryan has obtained certifications such as "Raspberry Pi: Home Monitoring and Control," "Economic Indicators," "Finance for Non-Financial Managers," and "Running a Design Business: Starting Small" from LinkedIn in the year 2019.
