Henning Krause

Henning Krause is an experienced professional in the design and font management industry, currently serving as the Sr Monotype Library Product Manager at Monotype since August 2013, overseeing a portfolio of over 20,000 digital assets including renowned brands like Helvetica, DIN, and Frutiger. As the Manager of Font Engineering for EMEA, responsibilities included managing font library production for major brands across EMEA and APAC regions. Henning founded and operates formgebung and held leadership positions as President and Vice President of Deutscher Designertag e.V. and BDG Bund Deutscher Grafik-Designer e.V., respectively. Previous experience also includes a Project Leader role at MetaDesign, contributing significantly to projects such as the design for Berlin's public transportation system. Henning holds a degree from Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences, attained between 1985 and 1990.
