Michael Jones has over 10 years of experience in software engineering. Michael started their career at IBM Storage as a Staff Software Engineer in 1991 and worked there until 1995. During this time, they were responsible for software development tasks. In 1995, they joined IBM Printing Systems as a Staff Software Engineer and served in this role for 10 years. Michael was primarily involved in implementing and maintaining OS interface services for high-end printer control units. Michael also wrote device drivers and kernel extensions for AIX and Linux. In 2005, they joined Monotype as a Principal Software Engineer, where they currently work.

Michael Jones earned their Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Brigham Young University, where they studied from 1987 to 1991. Michael also obtained a certification in Becoming Indistractable from LinkedIn in 2020.
