Tim Costello currently serves as the Lead IP Counsel, Global at Monotype, a position held since June 2022, following prior roles at the same company including Senior IP Counsel and Contracts Counsel & Assistant IP Counsel. Before Monotype, Tim worked as Corporate Counsel at Avid Technology, Inc. from May 2021 to June 2022 and gained experience as an Associate at Catalano Gallardo & Petropoulos, LLP. Earlier internships include positions in Business & Legal Affairs at Viacom, Universal Pictures, Sony Music Entertainment, and Atlantic Records. Tim holds a Juris Doctor (J.D.) focusing on Intellectual Property, Media, and Information Law from Brooklyn Law School, a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Business Management from Providence College, and has studied at University College Dublin's Quinn School of Business.
