Michael De Marco has a diverse work experience in various roles and positions within the auto industry. Michael started in 1996 as a General Manager at Midas Auto Service and worked there until 2002. Michael then joined Midas International in 2003, where they held roles such as Shop Operations Manager, Corporate Training Manager, and Market Manager until 2013. Following this, they worked at Pep Boys as an Operations/Service Manager/LDP from 2013 to 2014. In 2014, they joined Car-X Tire & Auto as a Franchise Operations Manager and later became the Director of Franchise Operations and Training in 2019. In 2015, they joined Monro, Inc. as the Director of Franchise Operations and Training, where they currently hold this role.
Michael De Marco has a history of education that includes studying Advanced Technical Studies at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale from 1995 to 1996. Prior to that, they earned an Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.) degree in Automotive Management and Technology from McHenry County College in 1993-1994. In 1992-1993, they completed a program in Automotive Technology at Universal Technical Institute of Illinois Inc. Additionally, Michael has obtained certifications such as ASE Certified Undercar Specialist, Automotive Service Consultant, and Maintenance and Light Repair Technician from the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) in June 2014.
