Montag Residency is an independent initiative run by artists and cultural workers in Balıkesir Gönen Turkey.
It is a project-based and collaborative artistic production area.
Open to artists, curators, and art writers, the venue determines its selection through direct invitation or thematic open call.
It provides artists with time and space to focus on their production. It is a place-based art, culture, and community space that seeks to establish a relationship with the locals and seeks new maneuvers within the system.
