The Montecito Inn was built in 1928 by screen legend Charlie Chaplin as an escape to paradise for his closest friends. Enriched with influences reminiscent of early Santa Barbara, guest rooms are a reflection of the Montecito Inn's proud history and tradition. Guest rooms and suites at Montecito Inn are furnished in the classical Mediterranean influences of Santa Barbara and Montecito's unique style, which includes warm earth tones, decorative lines, and pastel colors. A few standout features of our accommodations include Italian marble bathrooms and fireplaces in select rooms and suites. The Montecito Inn offers the perfect blend of classic style, comfort, convenience, and personalized service.
