Paul Farber is the Director and Co-Founder of Monument Lab, where they explore themes of monuments, memory, and public space. Farber is also a Senior Research Scholar at the Center for Public Art & Space at the University of Pennsylvania and has served as a lecturer in Urban Studies and Fine Arts. They are the author and co-editor of several publications, including "A Wall of Our Own: An American History of the Berlin Wall" and the forthcoming book "After Permanence: The Future of Monuments." Additionally, Farber hosts "The Statue," a podcast series from WHYY/NPR, and holds a PhD in American Culture from the University of Michigan. They currently serve on the Board of Trustees for the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.
