Benjamin Gubbay has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Benjamin began their career as an Office Assistant at Free Office Search in 2012 and later co-founded The Five Product Company, where they promoted technology products and managed a website. In 2013, they worked as a Summer Camp Counselor at Camp JCA Summer Camp, where they supervised and coordinated activities for children. From 2012 to 2016, they also worked as a Private Tutor, providing educational support to individuals.

In 2015, Benjamin worked as an Indirect Tax Assistant and Research Assistant at BGI Benchmark. Benjamin then joined Grant Thornton UK LLP as a Technology Risk Associate, where they conducted internal audits and analyzed client data using specialized software. In 2017, they joined EY as a Cyber Security Consultant, assisting clients with their cybersecurity needs. At EY, they were later promoted to Senior Cyber Security Consultant.

In 2017, Benjamin also worked as an Analyst at Metix App, a start-up app, where they focused on app development, user experience improvement, and social media presence. Benjamin joined Monzo Bank in 2021 as a Senior Security Analyst and was promoted to the role of Security Analyst Manager in 2023, where they currently manage a team and oversees security operations.

Throughout their career, Benjamin has demonstrated expertise in cybersecurity, risk analysis, data analysis, and project coordination.

Benjamin Gubbay completed their high school education at JFS from 2005 to 2012, where they obtained A-levels in Mathematics (A*), Physics (A), and Economics (B). In 2012, they enrolled at The University of Manchester and pursued a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physics, which they completed in 2015. In 2017, Benjamin briefly attended The Open University to study Introduction to Cyber Security but did not obtain a degree in that field. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications in different areas. In 2017, Benjamin achieved the Certificate in Finance, Accounting, and Business (CFAB) from ICAEW. In 2018, they obtained the CIMA Certificate in Business Accounting from CIMA. In 2019, they earned the COBIT® 5 Foundation certification from APMG International and CompTIA Security+ certification from CompTIA. Most recently, in 2021, Benjamin obtained the Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control™ (CRISC) certification from ISACA. Outside of their academic pursuits, Benjamin achieved the Black Belt rank in Funakoshi Shotokan Karate Do in November 2009.
