Chris Socha is an experienced engineer with a diverse background. Chris started their career at Imperial College Consultants, where they worked as a Software Engineer for a few months in 2011. Chris then moved on to ARM, where they worked as a Compiler Engineer in the Processor Division during the summer of 2012.

After their time at ARM, Chris joined ThoughtWorks as a Graduate Software Engineer in 2013. Chris quickly progressed to the role of Software Engineer and eventually became a Senior Software Engineer and Tech Lead. At ThoughtWorks, Chris worked as a consultant, leading engineering teams, ensuring the quality of technical outcomes, and providing technical vision and architecture. Chris worked with various clients and domains, utilizing the best-suited technology for each project. Chris's tenure at ThoughtWorks lasted until 2019.

In 2019, Chris joined Quin: Diabetes Management as a Senior Software Engineer. Chris played a crucial role in designing and delivering an iOS app to assist individuals with Type 1 Diabetes in self-managing their condition. Chris's contribution extended beyond technical expertise, as they also joined the Leadership Team as an Engineering Manager. As part of the team, they helped set the company's vision, collaborated with product and marketing departments, and made company-level decisions. Chris continued to serve in this position until 2022.

Currently, Chris Socha is an Engineering Manager at Monzo Bank, having started in August 2022.

Chris Socha attended Imperial College London from 2009 to 2013, where they pursued a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Electronic and Information Engineering.
