Clare Ridd

Clare Ridd is a skilled Senior User Researcher currently at Monzo Bank since March 2022, with extensive experience in user research roles, particularly in the fintech and public sectors. As Lead User Researcher at Farewill since October 2019, Clare has focused on product development driven by a vision to simplify end-of-life processes. Previously, Clare led a team of 13 researchers for the Police Digital Service at the UK Home Office from September 2013 to October 2019, conducting ethnographic studies and contributing to the development of advanced tools. Clare's journey in user research began during a tenure in the Technology in Business Faststream programme, which followed an initial career in education as a teacher with Teach First from September 2010 to July 2013. Clare holds a Master's degree in Human Computer Interaction from UCL and a Bachelor of Arts in Human Sciences from the University of Oxford.
