Learning & Development Onboarding & Trainer Manager: Financial Crime & Fraud at Monzo

Dan Warriner has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Dan started their career as an IT Apprentice at the Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in July 2014. After completing their apprenticeship, they worked as an Outpatient Receptionist from June 2015 to October 2015 at the same organization.

In October 2015, Dan joined Webhelp UK as a Contact Centre Associate on behalf of Sky UK, where they worked until May 2016. Following this, they joined Barclays Bank Plc. as a Community Banker in May 2016, and worked in this role until February 2017.

Dan then moved on to Doddle, where they worked as a Senior Customer Support Agent from February 2017 to March 2018. Dan was later promoted to the position of Customer Support Team Leader, and worked in this role until April 2019.

Since April 2019, Dan has been working at Monzo Bank. Dan started as a Customer Operations Specialist from April 2019 to June 2019, before moving on to become a Customer Operations Team Manager from June 2019 to June 2020. Dan then transitioned to the role of Fraud & Financial Crime Operations Team Manager from June 2020 to May 2023.

Following this, they worked as a Fraud & Financial Crime Training Team Manager from August 2021 to October 2022. Currently, they serve as a Learning & Development Onboarding & Trainer Manager, specifically focused on Financial Crime & Fraud at Monzo Bank, starting from June 2023.

Dan Warriner attended North Nottinghamshire College from 2014 to 2015 and studied Information Technology. Prior to that, they attended Shirebrook Academy from 2009 to 2014, although no specific field of study or degree was mentioned. Additionally, in October 2022, they obtained an IGCA Certificate in Compliance from the London Governance & Compliance Academy (LGCA).
